listening to the song, "Linger"...

suddenly I think how important is to dream. How important is not to give up and to wake up everyday thinking it will soon come, while of course, working for it.

So imagine what would history be without dreamers. If we were all negative pragmatic people, we would be still at warring each other, mistrusting and destroying. It takes no effort to destroy something most of the time, but think about how much time and effort it takes to build something. Think how good you feel when you build something, when you know you have done something worthwhile.

...and the funny thing is that the lyrics of "Linger" had nothing to do with my thoughts. amazing the mood that songs can give you. This desire to help, to build, to improve, to love... I guess jcpenny gave me something good afterall.

a thoughtful moment

So I was just browsing around some facebook albums as I tend to do. Suddenly, by looking at those pictures, I analyzed their faces, their laughs and their expressions. I thought, what does it feel to be that person smiling there or that other one standing up there? What does it feel to experience the world in another body? What if I was born in another culture, from another race? Would it all be the same? such things remind me of the philosophical article, "what is it like to be a bat?" Perhaps they are right, and there is something else to knowledge than just physical and observational science facts. Perhaps thats what the abstract is made of. Experiences...how can we objectively account for something subjective? It is the fact that is subjective, afterall, what makes it an experience.

At this moment, the nyquil effects are starting to take over. I feel lazy and tired. I can daydream without criticism. I can think about that which takes over my mind and more. I can say, I do what I like to do and not feel guilty about it. I like nyquil.

a movie thoughts

so I watched wedding crashers (dled P2P)

I laughed my ass off. Some of the moments are priceless...such as when the younger maid gives the guy a hand job but fully clothed with her hands UNDER THE TABLE, in a special dinner occasion. His face is just sooooo priceless. I cant believe how much I laughed lol. I have a cold so laughing hurts my throat, but I let go off all pain to laugh.

OH MAN. what a good movie. Even the two girls were hot, and I really rarely say so. Well, lets put it this way, one was really pretty and the other was younger and of a horny air. The younger one made me laugh so much with her horny dominatrix attitude lol.

The msg was really good,too. At least what I got from the movie is that being a player is a sad thing if you made that your entire lifetime entertainment.

so I watched full metal movie and read some urban dictionary defs

let me start with the funniest quote I read yesterday:

I was looking at the "emo" definition in urban dictionary, due to a facebook group which called my attention. Emotional dramatism is what I got out of it, but their counterparts are practical, drama-free male chauvinists. Both teams are nuts.

Anyways, just pondering at some thoughts. "One thing only I know, and that is that I know nothing" -socrates.
But if you know that 'you know nothing', then by default, you know something which is precisely that you dont know anything. He recognizes that is the only thing he knows, but then, isnt socrates' falling into circular or infinite recursive argument?

I am more concerned of why do I think of these things lol.

reading some lyrics around. I dont know whats been with me and songs lately lol.
I take the jcpenny ambient songs, google them and I read/interpret the lyrics. Then I download them and listen to them even back home lol.

This summer is becoming more dreadful by the minute but I am happy 'cause I know it should be over in about a month. This is the first summer I want to just end lol. Maybe this is the beggining of such summers xD

Fuck, fear of failure is something very human, so no shame about it. That said, I should look up and enjoy. Good things are always to come soon enough...always.

soooo happy cause spain, brazil and portugal were avenged lol.

so lets see...people in jcpenny tried to guess from what latin america country I was from based on my look and my accent (though soft, when I talk in spanish), etc...three guesses so far. one said chile , one said peru and the last one said I was argentinian. So mmm...not so accurate. I suppose I dont look or sound really peruvian, just south american lol.

mmm...summer is long and I miss college O.o oh well. Not too long till august 21st...kinda lol.
